You are important to the people around you. They may never tell you, but you are.

And you're important to God. You may never have heard it before, but it's in writing: You were made to matter.

You influence the world around you. You decide the action you take to help or hurt the people around you. You decide to help or hurt yourself. 

The right action at the right time. 

Mercy instead of indifference or revenge. . . . Our actions can make a life-or-death difference to those in need of them. 

Your action can even shape the outcome of life itself for some people.

Be humble enough to know there is just one God, and it's not you. God is God. But He does have the job some of us want.
